First off.. my husband has been working out of town since November, although I do get to see him on the weekends. But let me tell you, it has brought us alot closer together!!

That doesn't make it suck any less though =(

Sleeping in a bed all alone, calling him whenever Ace wants to talk to him because he misses his daddy, it does get difficult, but it will be well worth it in the end! Just keep thinking of that!

In the mean time, you can blog as much as you want without him commenting that you're not spending enough time with him, you can eat whatever you want, read books, watch whatever you want on TV...

I don't know if you will have the luxury of doing so, or even want to, but Muscles and I fall asleep on the phone with each other every night! =) We started that about a year before we got married (and I still lived in Florida)

Way cute pictures..thanks for sharing your fun that way. As for long distant marriage...I feel like I might understand that some because me and my hubby have had months at a time with out being together. Longest 7 months...yeah. So here are some tips. E-mail, write real letters, phones, and even packages can help the time pass. Also do some kind of count down..calandar, candy, pennies, anything to help look forward to that time together again. Also stay busy and improve yourself...this can be a good time. Really if you deeply know you are both were you are suppose to be during this time and stay positive you will be surprised at how fast it goes by. Smiles!

Make phone/webcam dates, mail him handwritten letters, talk with your family, have girls nights... etc.

I also think it's better you didn't "have time to prepare" because often it adds more days of crying instead of enjoying time with him. (coming from a military wife)
