I remember when I first got married, and Rich was out doing VIPS (it was during election season, so he was around Bush), and then deployment - I was terrified!Ok, so I still am, but whatev.

I would stay up until daylight, and keep all the lights on in the house just to feel safe. Oh, and I locked myself in the bedroom withsoe food/water, and since we had a bathroom in there I had no reason to leave. And I talked to my sister on the phone until 6am. Yep, I was lame.

And I still am. Now I have a gun that's in the nightstand (or under his pillow after he leaves for work), a batton (the kind the police use, it's small unti lyou flick it out, and it's solid metal) beside the bed on the floor.... and a mini-hatchet in the closet. Oh yes, I'm trying to be badass. *lmao*

There have were times of hardship when I didn't know about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never thought that there weren't any need in big initial investment.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I begin to get real money.

I so ran away when I was in 1`st grade all I took was a napkin with Doritos looked out my back porch and thought to myself where am I going to go? So I sat on the porch and ate my Chips. When you said you have gone commando I thought you ment you were not wearing any underware, that's what my mom use to tell me when she wasn't wearing any underware. Why? that's a whole other story. My hubz is 1770 miles away, at first it was hard...then I realized that raising the 4 kids, dog, cats and fish, that i was exhausted too much to worry and be scared...then again, I've done it before. That's exactly how I feel every time my husband deploys....as if that weren't enough by itself I have to work about all the freaks and weirdos outside my house. This is also the main reason, other than that I LOVE my boys, that we got not 1 but 2 male German Shepherds...to guard me and the kids when he is gone. Well, let me tell you - your fat cat (and mine) are better guard dogs. Jake "the big one" (100 lbs)will bark and protect me...if he wakes up because he sleeps like the dead and Owen "the little one" (70 lbs) is so friendly that he is just super happy and excited to see ANYONE that comes to the house and OF COURSE he will show you where the good china is kept.... Oh I love to live alone. I miss it. You can do what you want whenever you want. You can eat anything and no one knows it. LOL

Plus you can watch all sort of chick flicks all day.

At first it is a bit scary but then you get used to it and I bet it will be hard to sleep when your hubby comes back home and starts to hog that bed you get used to sleeping in the middle of.

When my hubs used to go away, Im not so scared any more but back in the day, I used to put all my glass ware behind the front door so if anyone actually was successful at opening it in the middle of the night I would hear it!

I know exactly what you are going through. I've only ever spent a night at a time without someone else (hubby & kids) in the house.

I'm also sorry that someone (or more than one someone) is/are stealing images from your blog.
