The Definition of "Road Trip"

At 5pm today we're leaving for Laramie, WY. (Yes, that is 8 hours away...) This is the "halfway" point between Idaho and Kansas, where we drop off our niece and nephew to have my BIL and SIL pick them up.

Since I hate road trips with a fiery passion, I will be ignoring the scenery (or lack thereof) and doing blog layouts. (Without the internet, not sure how that will work.) Assuming I don't get car sick staring at my computer screen, anyway.

We will come back Sunday... That's 16 hours of driving, 16 hours of "awake" time Saturday, 16 hours (or more) of "sleep" both days.

If you can't tell, I'm still sick, a little bitter, but excited that I am going to cheat a little on my diet today. (By "cheat" I mean eat organic crackers or something...) PLUS excited that I get to see my BIL and SIL and stay at a hotel and have a mini vacay.

Wish me luck! I'll have internet at the hotel!

I've been through Laramie! Sorry about the long ride in a car :-( I can't tolerate long car trips anymore...getting old I guess!

Here's one for all us old hippie "
drug addicts" : What do you get when you take LSD with birth control? A trip without the kids.
